    We bring the craft of the past back to the shop of today. Where you get fresh bread from the baker and fresh vegetables from the greengrocer, you get fresh meat from us. We cut it for you on the spot. Furthermore, we make 90% of our products ourselves. Try our home-made specialties such as Homemade Ham, Grandma's meatball or Filet Americain, we even make the sauce ourselves! We are also known for our fresh sausages that we prepare in the traditional way!

  • Dry-Aged Specialist

    The meat with this label has matured for at least 40 days in our special climate cabinets. In this cabinet, the ideal climate is created with the right humidity, temperature and air circulation, in which the maturing process can do its work and harmful bacteria have no chance. A hard dry crust is formed on the outside of the meat to protect the meat on the inside. During the maturing process, the natural enzyme breaks down the connective tissue in the muscle, making it more tender. The meat gets a more intense, beefy and nutty flavour.

  • 100% Organic

    Our meat is 100% certified organic. De Groene Weg delivers this meat to us several times a week. They are the market leader in organic meat in the Netherlands. We work with a closed chain of farmers. We know our farmers by name and they take optimal care of our animals. For example, they sow wild flowers to keep the bee population in balance. But the pigs of our farmer Ruben Exterkate also still roll around in the mud here!
